Players can earn CKG Tokens, which have various uses within the ecosystem. This FAQ explains how P2E works, how rewards are distributed, and what you can expect as a player.

1. What Is Play-to-Earn in Cat Kombat?​

The Play-to-Earn (P2E) model allows players to earn CKG Tokens through gameplay. Whether you engage in daily quests, win battles, or participate in tournaments, your in-game actions translate into real rewards. These tokens can be used for in-game purchases, upgrades, staking, and trading.

2. How Are P2E Rewards Distributed?​

From the 35 Billion CKG Tokens reserved for P2E, rewards are distributed gradually over time to maintain token value and balance. Here’s the distribution approach:

  • Reward Pool: A portion of the 35 Billion CKG tokens is allocated to a reward pool, which funds player rewards.
  • Phased Release: To prevent oversaturation, rewards are released gradually over time:
    • Year 1: 10% of the P2E tokens are released.
    • Year 2: 20% of tokens are released.
    • Year 3: 35% of tokens are released.

3. What Is the Vesting Period for P2E Rewards?​

To maintain sustainability and player engagement, P2E rewards will have a vesting period:

  • Vesting Schedule: The remaining rewards will vest over a specific period, ranging from 3 to 12 months depending on the activity (e.g., battle wins, tournaments, etc.).
  • Example: For tournament rewards, players might receive 20% of the tokens immediately, with the rest released over 6 months.

4. How Are P2E Rewards Automated?​

Smart Contracts govern the automated distribution of rewards:

  • Dynamic Rewards: Smart contracts adjust the rewards based on player achievements, active player counts, and overall token supply. This ensures balanced token distribution and prevents inflation.
  • Automated Payouts: Tokens are distributed directly to players based on their participation in quests, battles, and tournaments.

5. What Are Daily and Weekly Quests?​

To keep players engaged and ensure a steady flow of rewards, Cat Kombat introduces daily and weekly quests:

  • Daily Quests: Complete small tasks each day to earn CKG tokens.
  • Weekly Challenges: More extensive challenges that reward higher token payouts.
  • Milestone Achievements: Achieve certain milestones (e.g., winning streaks, leveling up) for additional rewards.

6. How Are Tournaments Structured?​

Cat Kombat will host monthly tournaments where players can compete for large rewards:

  • 1st Prize: $1,000,000 worth of CKG Tokens.
  • 2nd Prize: $100,000 worth of CKG Tokens.
  • 3rd Prize: $10,000 worth of CKG Tokens.

Prize Pool Scaling Strategy:
As Cat Kombat’s app evolves, the prize pool increases. Starting with App v1, the monthly prize pool will be over $1 million in CKG token rewards. With each new app version, the pool grows by $1 million:

  • App v1: Over $1 million in monthly prizes.
  • App v2: Over $2 million in monthly prizes.
  • App v3: Over $3 million in monthly prizes, and so on.

This strategy keeps tournaments competitive and exciting, ensuring players have a strong incentive to participate as the game grows.

7. Can I Spend My Tokens in the Game?​

Yes! CKG Tokens earned through P2E can be spent in the in-game marketplace:

  • Upgrades: Buy upgrades for your characters and equipment.
  • Items: Purchase exclusive in-game items.
  • NFTs: Unlock rare NFTs that can be used within the game or traded on external platforms.

Spending tokens within the game adds utility to CKG Tokens, ensuring long-term demand and reducing the pressure on open-market sales.

8. What Happens to Unused Tokens?​

Tokens that go unclaimed or unused in the reward pool are handled in two ways:

  • Redistribution: Unclaimed tokens are recycled back into the reward pool for future events or initiatives.
  • Token Burn: A small percentage of unclaimed tokens may be burned to ensure scarcity and maintain token value over time.
